Description:  Took off at 02:31 from RAF Edgehill for night flying practice but failed to climb and hit the ground, upwind of the runway.  It was discovered that the flaps had dropped into the fully down position.  P/O Hampson fractured several ribs.

Description:  Took off from RAF Edgehill for a high-level bombing detail.  Force-landed 0030 on Wellesbourne Mountford airfield having experienced serious problems with the aircraft's hydraulic system.  No one was injured, but the aircraft was a write off.

Description:  Took off at 00:44 from RAF Edgehill for night circuit training.  Drifted off the centre line and while going round again at 0124, flew into the windsock, crashed and burst into flames.  F/S Thompson was badly injured, but his crew escaped with little more than a very bad fright.

Description:  Took off at 02:38 from RAF Chipping Warden for a cross-country exercise.  Returned to base, in the wake of starboard engine failure, but failed to land off the first attempt.  Going round again, the bomber stalled and crashed 14:03 catching fire immediately.(+)

Description:  T/o 0020 Edgehill but clipped one of the unit's Wellingtons, parked at its dispersal.  Ordered to head for Woodbridge in Suffolk, the crew duly arrived there at 0150, their aircraft being wrecked in the ensuing crash-landing.
